How to Be More Charming Part 4
“Charisma is a sparkle in people that money can’t buy. It’s an invisible energy with visible effects.” Marianne Williamson
Ever see someone who has the “sparkle” that everyone loves? If you want to be that person, you have to put in the work. Here are some tips.
Think about what you will say next.
It helps to give yourself a few seconds to think about what you want to say before talking. Then you can avoid saying, “Ummmm…” and looking dumb. If you give yourself time to consider your subsequent words, you can form your thoughts about the current topic and avoid saying something out of instinct that you might not mean or you think sounds dumb shortly after saying it too. Think about what you want to say, don’t react to things out of instinct.
Don’t act clingy.
Constantly calling or texting someone might annoy them — unless you’re dating, of course. Then it’s normal. Avoid continuously trying to contact someone you just met as well; you’ll seem off-putting. Everyone also likes to have some time to themselves every once in a while, so even if you’re best friends with someone, you should give them some space now and then.
